Hailey has been hearing an owl in the backyard for several years. Well, our next door neighbor, Steve, came frantically knocking at our front door last Friday night. It seems the owl had been in his backyard and he saw it fly over to our yard. Yep, we found him/her...perched up in one of the pine trees. I hurriedly (is that how you spell that?) got my camera to get up close and personal with Mr. Barn Owl! It was so awesome. I believe it was the first time I've ever seen an owl in the wild!
