Baby bottle and car fire!

I went to Texas last week for Courtney's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding. Hailey was in the wedding and I believe was somewhat "tipsy" walking down the aisle! The reception was quite fun. I danced with Hailey's friends and their parents. On Sunday, we all went to my cousin Steven's house. There was lots of family there. Steven and Sandra were nice enough to put up with all of us all afternoon. Jordan and Candice spent yesterday afternoon at home with me. I did not get to see Gus, tho. I left Houston this morning and had an eventful flight. There was a tot (under 2 yo since he was sitting on his Mom's lap and not in his own seat), sitting behind me. BEFORE the plane closed the door I was hit in the head with a bottle! WTH? I handed it back to the Mom and she sheepishly said "sorry". This was followed by my hair being pulled TWICE! WTH? THEN, the damn kid threw the bottle AGAIN and hit me in the head AGAIN! WTF? I love kids, but damn, if people are gonna give birth, then that ought to DISCIPLINE their offspring! I had already decided that I WAS NOT GOING TO GIVE THAT BOTTLE BACK A THIRD TIME! If the police had to escort me off that plane for being disorderly, so be it. PEOPLE, I TOOK CARE OF MY KIDS, TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN! While driving from Detroit back to Ohio, a state police car came screaming up behind me. They went around me and a few other cars and then I saw a lot of smoke ahead. I thought I could see flames, so I felt around in my purse and got my camera (Carolyn, aren't you proud?). We had to slow down, so I snapped a few pics. Jim is in Missour/Illinois on the job we just left! He saw lots of our friends that we are missing! I will be busy the next week getting our stuff in order for our cruise. We leave next Thursday for Vancouver and get on the ship the next day. I am going to try to blog from the ship, so be watching for Alaska updates.
